bespline shows curved composite capabilities at CAMX 2024
CAMX 2024
August 30, 2024. Bespline produces innovative, curved composites without the time, cost and waste of building traditional molds. Using a digital reconfigurable mold system, bespline enables sustainable 3D shaped foam, fiberglass and advanced composite structures for a wide range of applications.
Bespline continues to grow its capabilities, supplying Shaped Foam Kits to the marine and aeronautics industry, as well as a variety of shaped compositesfor architecture/construction and special projects.
The mapping and nesting service bespline provides for its Shaped Foam Kits ensures minimal material waste, while the correction for spring back guarantees a better fitting core for reduced assembly times. PVC, PET and SAN foam cores up to50 mm thick can be thermoformed, saving kilograms of resin and hours of labor.
Bespline also manufactures single- and double-curved structural composite panels with avariety of finishes including wood, stone, paint, printed graphics and more. The company is continually working with new materials, from VOC-free and fire-retardant acrylic-based resin to flax fiber-reinforced bio-thermoplastic ekoa® panels and veneers.
